The team at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic is comprised of highly trained and experienced animal health professionals who have a genuine love for working with pets. Our staff treats every patient with the highest quality of medical care as well as a gentle touch.

Veterinarian

Dr. C.J. Hellmann

 Dr. C.J. Hellmann was born and raised in Independence, Kentucky. He attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in 1985 with a B.S. in Agriculture. Then he attended Ross University where he graduated in 1989 and started All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in 1991. Dr. Hellmann has a special interest in orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association, and also the Northern Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Hellmann has a cat named Rosie and a dog named Hagar. Dr. Hellmann enjoys working on his family’s beef farm. In his spare time, Dr. Hellmann likes to play golf and go diving. Dr. Hellmann also has three children which keep him busy as well.

Office Manager

Sue Hellmann

 Sue Hellmann has been our office manager since she joined All Creatures Veterinary Clinic. Her duties include managing our staff and efficiently managing our inventory and finances. Sue ensures we have the ability to continue to finance additional medical and surgical equipment to meet the demands of our clients. Sue likes to travel and go diving in her spare time as well as having three grand babies to keep her busy when she’s not keeping the clinic under control!

Brittany Mahan – Veterinary Technician

Brittany is our newest tech to join the All Creatures Team as of July 2018! She graduated from college at Ross Medical Education Center for Veterinary Assisting January 2019, and is now one of our full time Techs. She is from the NKY area and has 3 cats Salem, Roland, and Skye. She is eager to meet you and your furry family members!

She likes to spend her free time hunting, drawing, watching Movies, and being with her loved ones.

Danielle Crone – Veterinary Technician

 Education: NKU

Hometown: Northern KY

Pets: Dillon

Danielle joined the All Creatures Team in October 2015. She is currently in school and works with horses in her spare time. She graduated from Ryle high school and has two dogs, Dillan and Copper.
Danielle is always eager to help our clients!

Sam O’Rourke – Veterinary Technician

 Hometown: Northern KY

Pets: Harvey, Emma, Frank, Eve and Jacob

Sam joined us at All Creatures in May 2010.
She Graduated from Lakota West High School in 2007, currently lives in NKY and recently welcomed a baby girl in November 2018!
She is always eager to help clients with any questions or concerns about their pets.

Paige Scheele – Assistant

Education: Northern Kentucky University

Paige started at All Creatures in June 2015. She is currently in school for nursing and spends lots of time training at the barn with horses!

Clinic Pets

Snowy (SnowBear Hellmann)

 Dr. Hellmann found Snowy out behind his house starved and deaf with a head injury. We brought him into the clinic, fed him, vaccinated him, and neutered him and he became healthy again. As you can see he is a happy, healthy, house cat now!
